I mean is there anyone better than Mario Balotelli?

Mario Balotelli @MarioBaloteLAD
Everyone keeps going on and on about Suarez being allegedly racist, but they are forgetting one crucial factor... Evra is French

Rio Ferdinand, who snubbed Suarez's handshake, later told MUTV: "After seeing what I saw I decided not to shake his hand. He's not got the respect that he needs to have in these situations and acknowledge he's made a mistake and say sorry. I lost all respect for the guy after that.
Suarez refusing to shake Evra's hand was disrespectful. So then Ferdinand refusing to shake Suarez' hand was __________ ?

The only word that seems to fit is disrespectful.

It's either a personal decision and neither one needed to shake hands (the obvious answer), or it's disrespectful from both of them, and Ferdinand needs to get off of his high horse because he responded in the exact same way.

Seriously, he wouldn't shake his hand. He didn't light him on fire and then spit on him. Ferguson crying about how he should never play for Liverpool again is ridiculous.

I wouldn't say that Ferdinand was disrespectful. He was standing up for Evra.

If Suarez didn't have the nuts to make things "right," then it shouldn't be expected for someone else to shake his hand. I almost wish that the whole MUFC team didn't shake his hand after Suarez didn't shake Evra's hand. That would only make it right...in my opinion.

Liverpool and/or the Premier League need to right the situation. Don't put those guys in a place to shake each others' hands to cause this scene OR do something completely different in terms of punishment or "fixing" the problem.

It is stemming from racism. That's an awful "black eye" to have on soccer, Liverpool, and the Premier League. There is no other sport that is (and has) done it's share to overcome racism like soccer has. Suarez's actions are pathetic.

EDIT:
I would probably feel different if this situation didn't revolve around the racism issue. If it was just "bad blood" with two hard-playing player...so be it, it can stay between those two players. Not with racism, this is a terrible ordeal.

Suarez has apologized:
Suarez says he realizes he "got things wrong"
he not only let down Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish but also "the club and what it stands for, and I'm sorry."
"I made a mistake and I regret what happened."

LOVE IT! I am going to start buying Barbasol...and I don't even shave...

On the National side of things...the USMNT just confirmed two more games: Scotland on May 26 (in Jacksonville) and Antigua on June 8 (Tampa). The game against Scotland will be televised on the NBC Sports Network. The game against Antigua is the opener of World Cup qualifying.

This is supposedly the new USMNT away kit...

There have been many "leaked," but this is supposedly more legit. The release is supposed to be on February 29 against Italy. This top doesn't even compare to "Red All Over."
