P.S he can actually choose between Albania, Serbia, Turkey, and Belgium lol

In June 2013, Marc Van Geersom, former coach of the Belgium U-18 and U-19, has declared that Januzaj has refused a call-up to the Belgian team a number of times, since he would prefer to play for Albania.[SUP][8][/SUP][SUP][9][/SUP]

Strange to me, being that the Belgium team appears to be on the rise.

Not just on the rise. They are one of the top 8 best teams in the world. They could win it. Im not even joking. they legit would be considered a favorite if it was in Europe. Quarters ATLEAST in Brazil and Semis or better the next cycle

Where the fuck did they come from? They didn't even qualify for the 2012 euro cup.

I heard he's able to play for England too. There was a bit of a discussion in an article I saw today.

EDIT: Here it is. It's complicated and VERY unlikely to happen.

Belgium has a ton of young kids hitting their prime. They are poised for a long run for about a decade or more.

They didn't qualify for Euros in 2012 because most of those guys were young and not playing or at least no in their prime during qualification 4 years ago.

It's just crazy, of all the countries to get this surge of young talent, I would never guess Belgium.

Did you see where he could potentially be eligible by 2016 or 2018? There's no way he'll stay unattached until then. So, basically, England has no shot.

Not really surprised they lost, but this is how the state north of Ohio beat Ohio State...

Anyone else think Mexico could miss out on qualification after friday/tuesday? The 2 games they have left are not gimmie games (Panama/Costa Rica).

I think they'll beat panama at home, take 4th, and have to beat New Zealand to get in.

Abby Wambach married Sarah Huffman.

The news is very shocking I'm sure.

Let's say for awesome argument's sake, Panama beats Mexico tonight.

Is Mexico basically sunk? They'd be 3 points back of at least Panama (maybe Honduras as well), have fewer goals scored and almost certainly a worse goal differential than both Panama and Honduras as well. Basically, they'd need to absolutely hammer Costa Rica, in Costa Rica, to finish fourth and hope for results in their favor elsewhere.

Basically, come on Panama!

If Panama wins tonight, Mexico is done. It wont happen, but they would be.

Why? Cause USA would play for the draw in the final game with them lol. USA wouldnt say it, but they would easily be out for the tie (and Panama would love it as well) to keep their rivals out of the WC. It would be awesome.

Inexcusable for Denmark. Italy had their B squad and nothing to play for. Bulgaria lost too. They could've sealed a playoff spot since they have Malta on Tuesday.

Venezuela drew, so Uruguay locked up at least a playoff appearance (against Jordan). Would have been disappointed if they missed the cup.

Anyone think Bob Bradley and Egypt have a shot against Ghana?

Nice finish to the game - guaranteed to finish top in the hex after Costa Rica's loss. Like to get some of the younger guys experience!
