I also really hope Landon doesnt go all crazy and retire again lol. USA really is a different team with him in the line-up. The World Cup squad will be that much better with him around, especially on set pieces. One of the best in the world at set piece delivery imo.

Awesome! Now we just have to win 2015 edition to head to the 2017 Confed Cup! Even if we dont win...we have guaranteed a 1 game playoff to advance versus the 2015 winner.

We should also move up to about 18th in the World Rankings (10 spots up in 2 months!!!) and leapfrog Mexico who is just ahead of us right now. Good days to be an American soccer fan. Just keep on winning!
EDIT: The 4 spot jump to 18 is just based on current points of other teams, but our updated points. I have no clue what everyone else has done this month, so someone may jump us or fall and allow us to jump them. But as they stand now, we would move up 4 more spots.

We'll have 960 points, which should slot us 18th. None of the European or South American teams had games this month, meaning they'll all stay the same, Mexico will fall (but we would pass them even if they didn't lose any points) and Ivory Coast will fall to 962 points after losing to Nigeria and remain ahead of us.

But, the "announcement" includes the ownership group, so maybe it's about new ownership?
Last guesses are it is about sacking McCullers, new stadium or renovations, and let's just say a new DP for fun.
