If anything Campbell should be carded for that. It's ridiculous.

Yellow/red cards should be reviewable especially if it eliminates a player from a subsequent game (all reds and 2nd yellows).

Mexican ref giving a yellow card for a laughable dive. Now the player misses the next game against the Mexican National team... ya that doesn't seem sketchy or anything.

I think its a federation thing. Plenty of YC/RC have been overturned in soccer. I think CONCACAF must have this in place for some dumb reason.

I'm going. Had 38 tickets at one point and sold them all (to American's only) except my last 10 which I will be using on friend and family. Paid for my law school semster though. US 2-0 prediction.

Had a discussion with a friend today, wanted some OC input:

Is this the biggest PRO sporting event ever to occur in Columbus?? (mind you I'm only a casual soccer fan)

They played a qualifying match against Mexico before the last WC in Cbus.

Great read about how Crew Stadium and hosting this game came about. Pumps me up!

I remember when they boo'd the national anthem back in 1998 granted I was only 11 but my 6th grade teacher was a huge soccer fan and was a true USA American. He brought in the huge TV with VCR to show it to us all and spent like 30 minutes one day talking about how terrible that was. This was a great article though and hopefully they don't take this game away from Crew Stadium.

Hopefully we win tonight. There is nothing worse than losing to Mexico.

Jermaine Jones HAS to play well. Without Bradley, he instantly becomes our most important player.

For me, that would just be a bonus. We can survive with him playing poorly, but not Jones. Johnson can live off of what Dempsey and Landon can do (service wise, etc) if he is off...if Jones is off, we are fucked.
