1. Can we transort the Seattle crowd to every game? These guys are fucking awesome.

2. Everytime we see Evans, I think of Brian McBride.

It sounds cliche, but we all said anyone could win this HEX/advance to the WC.

Mexico is 17th in the world and is the highest ranked. Honduras at 52 is the lowest. Just a really balanced group, that we usually dont see.

Jamaica though is struggling.

I disagree. Usually, yes. Its USA/Mexico and then 1 of the other countries. But, currently, I think all 5 (Jamaica has sucked, really) are playing like top 40 teams in the world. That is good.

I think they've benefited from only playing Jamaica away so far. I don't expect them to get another point outside of Panama, and I don't think they'll finish within 5 points of qualification (maybe within the play-in match, but not 3rd).

Edit: Actually as horrible as Mexico has been they probably will. But I think they'll max at 10-12 points.

That doesnt mean they suck though. I would pit Concacaf 3rd right now behind UEFA and Comnebol. We have a really strong group of teams.

I mean, look at the teams in Europe who dont make it. Do they suck? No, and they get 12 teams in. We only get 3 (maybe 4), so just because someone is left out doesnt mean they suck. Generally they do, but I dont think so this year.

I'm not sure they'd be a top 20 team in Europe. Maybe my phrasing wasn't correct... I guess I should have said judging them on the world stage level (as in World Cup/final qualification round, not looking at every nation in the world). If you threw Panama in the WC I would expect them to go home with 0 points. And I'd put CAF 3rd ahead of CONCACAF.

Well yeah, I agree with the 0 points. I wouldnt qualify as someone who qualifies as bad though. Miscommunication.

And Concacaf right now might be slightly ahead of CAF. It would be close, but I think top 5 we could take 3 of the matches.
