That'd be hilarious. Imagine we win, CR wins, Honduras wins. End of the night the table looks like this:

Costa Rica 5 GP, 10 pts
USA 5 GP, 10 pts
Honduras 5 GP, 7 pts
Mexico 6 GP, 7 pts
Panama 5 GP, 6 pts
Jamaica 6 GP, 2 pts

Oh, and Mexico still has to travel to the US and to Costa Rica (and take on Honduras at Azteca). Needing probably nine points in four games to feel safe, they'd be in a total shit position.

ANNNNND, we all still have a game in hand (well, not Jamaica). So Mexico would be DONE on 7 pts for this round. Everyone else with a match still to play. With 4 to go, they could easily be sitting in 5th place with the toughest remaining schedule. Would be awesome. I dont think it happens, but it would be awesome.

Am I the only one who thinks it is BS that ESPN got the rights to all the Mexico games yet was too cheap to get the USA road games? I refuse to put the tv on for the Mexico games.

Well it might not have been. To me it just feels like ESPN has been pushing Mexican soccer more than American soccer for the last year or so.

I think they only have the rights to home matches for them too (qualifiers and friendlies).

0-0 at halftime for Mexico vs Costa Rica. CR looked to have a couple more chances than the Mexicans. One real nice shot off the post early on. Would love to see Mexico go down, regardless of the point implications for the US.

I haven't been watching this whole game... but if I remember correctly wasn't bottlegate due to a huge terrible call(s)?
