So disappointed! I am worried they may not qualify as well. I don't get this team, they are not aggressive at all and the defense looks lost at times!

Good thing they have another month and a half before their next match to figure it out. I predict we could miss out, given that performance, but also predict we'll look better on March 22. We better or Klinsy is out.

0-0-1 but 9 games to play.

Not a fan of Jozy in the starting lineup. I think he plays better coming off the bench. I don't understand bringing Edu on for Williams as the first substitution -- there was absolutely no tactical/technical shift there, maybe just fresh legs in the CDM position? Bringing on Klejstan was odd.

The backs do have a lot of sorting out to do. Geoff Cameron has been a MF for Stoke and he goes to playing CB for the USMNT? You could tell there was a lot of confusion with them and Timmy Howard. The first goal came when no one pressured the initial service, the guy had enough time to move completely around the ball to hit an outswinger -- PRESSURE THE BALL! Time and time again, the Honduran attack had all kinds of time and space to work with.

The USMNT and Jurgen had better take this month and figure some things out. They have some work to do. We HAVE to figure out how to sustain an attack AND possession.

I can't see not qualifying. The absolute worst case scenario should be play-in against New Zealand, and that's if everything goes wrong. We'll do enough in the home matches to pull 2nd or 3rd.

No way they dont qualify. The only team who I think can/will win in Honduras is Mexico. Honduras and the USA might have to fight for second. Ironically, we need Mexico to win all their matches. Cant allow other teams to steal points versus them. I hate rooting for them, but early on, until we establish ourselves in the HEX, wI have to.

going in, I expected a loss or a tie. After taking the lead, I got greedy and thus am very upset. But in the end, we wont be the last team to lose down there. Take care of work at home and get a few wins on the road and you have a chance at the top spot. Not having Landon sucks though, we need him back. Tactics were odd today...seriously, 3 defensive midfielders???

The us youth is just not where everyone expected it to be at this point. All the money to develop the game in the us and we can't find one youth player who seems to even be up to par with Donovan or Dempsey.

Mexico struggling big time against Jamaica in Azteca. 0-0 in the 76'. I'd argue a home loss or tie for Mexico in this would be worse than the US result

Easily. Unfortunately, it also hurts USA as it gives someone other than Mexico 3 pts on the road.

Spurs, and Dempsy get a nice win today. Bale is on a freaking year right now. It's impressive how he didn't get a hat-trick today, actually. They remain in 4th place, 1 pt behind Chelsea.

I dont think I like the new format of spreading all the games out. We dont have the weeks without matches as often, but we dont have the massive weeks with all the teams playing, either, which I miss tremendously. I used to love the CL T/W games cause you had so much going on at once. Now, its just the 2 games and we have to wait to get all the matches played.
