Officially 4 months... but this was supposed to be a more generally question about breaking up before or after the holidays and when Mantooth made the poll about me ... haha

4 months and you moved away right after it was official?

Here I thought this was a serious relationship. Dump him now so you don't lead him on, take a hit money wise on the tickets that you give to him and maybe he still gives you the jersey. If you do it now he may be over you soon by like Xmas eve if I am reading the info on the relationship right.

Well i said officially 4 months we have been dating for a total of 7.... i feel like no one is reading what i am saying. I do like him... or i wouldnt be with him. Also, I am not 17 and I dont get into relationships lightly. I was just wondering what ppl think about waiting until holidays are over to break up with someone.

SO, if you are in a relationship and you have some doubt you should just break up with someone? just cut ties and say whatever? That doesn't seem like a very loyal thing. I don't believe being with someone is always that easy especially when there are stressful external factors involved.

You might want to go home for break and have a sit down with him to talk about what is bothering you. If they can be worked out then great, but if he agrees that they are problems then maybe you could split and still be friends.

Screw his feelings and whether you will make him mad or not splitting before the holidays. Bottom line is, you're apparently not happy for whatever reason or another, so poof, break it off. Geez, why prolong the inevitable. It's not like you got kids hanging in the balance. It's not a freaking divorce.

Probably should have a sit down and figure it out if it is bothering you that much. Been dumped right around Christmas before and I don't think it would have mattered when it happened as I was still upset. Still dampens your holiday spirit either way.
