... and then he told me what he is getting me for Christmas.... Delonte West Jersey :) I am kidding on why i am staying with him, but I got him Knicks tickets for Christmas.

What do you guys think about waiting to break up with someone until after the holidays?

and I haven't decided if I am going to break up with him or not... I am at school 2 hours away and I am going to decide over break our fate (all while exchanging smiles and christmas presents :) )

For what it's worth, I would do it before the holidays. There is nothing like the Christmas season and time with family to get your mind off of a bad breakup. Christmas cheer works wonders.

Just dump him now imo. If he truly likes you it will blow either way, might as well save him some money if you care about him. Just use the tickets and take a friend.

I am not sure if I want to break up with him. We have been apart for so long it is difficult sometimes. Hence, the need for winter break to make sure I still want to be with him. It is unfortunate that Christmas is during this time because it will make me seem like a jerk if we do break up, but it isnt like i didnt spend money on him. I just bought him Detroilet v. New York tix. ALso, if i did break up with him i wouldnt take someone else to the game ... i would probably still give him the tickets and I wouldnt want to go to a Pistons game anyway. I am not the kind of girl that says HEY i got you tickets and WE can go together... I am sure he will take his brother.

If you have to debate it, what's the point of being together? Either you love/like someone or you don't. Either you'll do anything to be together or you won't. Tell him the deal. It'll save him money and you can still sell the tickets back and get yourself some stuff at Victoria Secrets.

You really think that love is that cut and dry? I moved away for school right after we started dating officially. We didn't have the foundation that a lot of couples have. Wouldn't it be unfair if I dont give the relationship a fair chance? And if anything about the money I have already spent more on his present and i am getting him something else... so what does that matter?
