Didn't want to start a new thread. But this season is every bit as good as the other ones so far. Think it's about to get intense with the cartel feud and Hank on the chase for Gus.

I've never watched it before, but I guess I kind of know the premise from watching late night talk shows. It looks interesting, but is it the type of show that I can just pick it up and start watching, or do I need to watch the earlier seasons to know what is going on? Thanks.

It's amazing that Bryan Cranston has done this and Malcolm in the Middle. Really, what a tremendous actor as those two characters are as different as you will find. It probably helps with the shaved head that he completely changed his appearance to help the suspension of disbelief.

I saw in the previews for it that he's got at least somewhat of a role in the upcoming Contagion film. I hope he has as much work as he wants because he's talented as hell.
Though now when I watch Malcolm in the Middle I'm always expecting him to go into Walter White mode and just murder someone.
