This. Steubenville is way more "hood" than "hillbilly." Definitely a diverse population though. A little bit of everything. Sadly, it is pretty much a shithole but all of the people aren't bad and only a few inbreds. Don't let a few people on here fool you....there are a lot of good people in the 'Ville. I grew up 15 miles south on 7. It's sad to see how bad its become in the Ville. I still have a lot of friends there, but they all stay on the top of the hill.

Speaking of which....does thin still reside in the 'Ville? I'm out in Wintersville now but still spend time in Steubenville as I'm a social worker here in the county and I have family and friends who still live there. I grew up on one of the hilltops (Pleasant Heights)....and it wasn't "pleasant" 20 or so years ago and it's much worse now. Same for LaBelle and downtown is starting to see more gunfire and crime here lately. Sad really.
I'll always love my hometown and only live a little bit out the road but I really like living in Wintersville.

Near Ferry. When I say hill I mean up near the stadium and further on Sunset. I have a lot of friends in the Wintersville area too. I used to be roomies with some Catholic Central folks so I've been in that area quite a lot.

Where do you reside . I am not ashamed to say where Im from but how bout you what wonderful town did you grow up in? I mean I always paid child support until you and your mom left with the carnival, I know being in the freak show all those years didnt help your self esteem ,but you can let that go now . They have discrimination laws to protect little people . You just arent allowed to do certain things that may be dangerous for you, like riding roller coasters and rides that require a 4 ft minimum ht
