Go with Maximus. I was planning on naming my kid Maximus but my wife's dumbass friend named her dumbass son Max and I don't want my kid being called Max like that piece of crap.

If you want your kids name to stand out you should name him Steven, Robert, Jason or James. In 18 years your kid will graduate with a couple hundred kids whose names are Aiden, Braden, Karsten, Carson, Connor, Max, etc. Being a Steve will make him an original!
