Well. it's almost 4 am, i've been on tower since 6 pm, and things are moving slowly at the moment.

My wife and I are trying to solidify a name for upcoming j_baby 2.0 (due 9/6/11).

We like older German names, and through our extensive research we've come up with 2 or 3 we like. what do y'all think?

Carsten Howard _crazy

or

Barrett Howard _crazy

or

something else (feel free to suggest).

the only 2 things that must happen with this baby's name:
1 it will not be named after my dad or myself (Charles and John, respectively).
2 unless the name you suggest blows me away, I'm pretty set on the middle name being Howard (after my Godfather who died when I was 9, it would be the first name, but the wife won't have it).

After quick google of Germanic names. I like Clovis and Raben. Given the two choices though Barrett is the right answer. Carsten is the name of the guy who founded PING. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karsten_Solheim I would like it if you spelled it with a K instead of a C.

Of the two choices, I prefer Barrett although some of these helpful suggestions have a nice ring to them as well. ;-)

I feel bad for your children, having to use ( _ ) when typing their name. Why not just have that legally changed to "Crazy" and drop the ( _ )?

I don't know if this will work for you

I had all girls so the potential that my Last Name will be lost on my side of the family will happen.


So my middle daughter took my last name (Irish sounding type name) and used it as my grand daughter first name , (my wife middle name and all my daughter middle name is Elizabeth (great grandma name)

so my grand daughter first name is my last name, middle name is tradition Elizabeth , last name is

Could you use your wife maiden name asa first name ....... Howard Crazy
