Let him struggle or star, but let's see what he's made of. I hate when they baby along players. If they aren't strong enough mentally to struggle and maybe be sent back down....I don't want them playing SS!
I'd start Cozart 6/7 games and keep Renteria to start that one other and for PH purposes. Let Cozart show us what he can do in all types of situations. Worst case scenario should be for Cozart to get 4/7 starts. If they bring him up and share time......the other guy better be playing significantly better for that to happen. I would pull him aside and say, "kid your up because you belong and you are going to make mistakes and you are going to keep playing in the big leagues for the forseeable future regardless of those mistakes......show us what you got and have some fun. Then maybe let him chew on one of Dusty's Australian chewing sticks.
All for the sink or swim style, but that usually isnt how they do it whe
Razor Shines....whatta name.
Remember Skeeter Barns from the Reds?

I'll make the odds high...but you should honor the Cozart call up with a big wager on a Cozart HR.

Rusty Kuntz was a nice named gentleman for the Tigers.

Volquez probably going down so they can get a bullpen arm. Guess that would mean Willis or LeCure will start Sunday and they will send down whoever is coming up today.

Well, the sun came up and Janish went down (an ode to the worst walk up song ever)

Fisher can eat innings, figured he would be up. When you get sent down you have to stay there for at least 10 days. I assume the days off during the AS break count toward that. So..Renteria and Cozart.
EV down....I imagine Fisher will get used and abused the next few days, and then the D Train gets his spot? Did he not pitch the other day?
OR...could possibly be why they only pitched LeClure an inning last night. They may want him to start for EV

Just having Fisher and knowing Chapman won't be used.......makes me hope Homer goes 8 and we have an 9+ run lead

That's pretty elaborate for Dusty.

In roughly 14 hrs someone will report the rumor that Cozart may be getting the call up.....it's practically as quick as twitter

I just had breakfast with Walt. It took some convincing as he's still a little iffy....but they are going to call up Cozart tomorrow and send Janish down. He thinks it is best for now that Cozart get over half the starts if he struggles a little and if he does well then he'll get the vast majority. He did say Renteria will not be going anywhere unless someone gives them way too much for him. Orange juice gives Walt some pretty severe gas.

Fisher won't get used unless it's a blowout. Masset, Ondrusek, Coco and Bray are all fresh. Carlos is up in case they need a long man since Arredondo and LeCure can't go. Finally Walt doing some things that make sense.
