haha, they just said volquez has been around long enough and smart enough not to groove pitches to holliday and berkman. smart and volquez should not be used together.

Two of the throws by Janish in the 2nd were pretty shaky. I'm wondering if his arm is bothering him, may have messed it up favoring his ankle a while back?

Stubbs has been my guy, but I am starting to think he might need some time down on the farm. He has been abysmal for a long long time. He has been getting the benefit of the doubt for much too long.
