It's been completely renovated since you guys visited. Here's a couple recent pics.

Not sure why the pics are gone now :/ I'll put em all back if I'm allowed, I noticed Justin is who edited the post.

I'll wait to see if there's a problem before I do.

Bing maps has a nice view of Campbell Memorial Stadium. Hopefully the link below will work. The home side is a semi double deck of sorts. It seats around 4,500. Those seats in the top level are among the best in the Mahoning Valley. That's where most of the Campbell huddlers can be found on game night. The visitor side seats 2,500. Grass surface. It's a little large for a small school. But we really like it.

Struthers-Poland is not far off on the horizon... next year. That one should be brutal. I've said it a number of times... not on this site... but, "The only team in the Red Tier of the AAC that Struthers probably shouldn't be able to hang with, is Howland."

Even in the MAC.

1998: 7-10 (I still don't know how the 6'7" Rick McFadden was denied on the QB sneak from the 1/2 yardline)
1999: 7-24 (Poland went 15-0 and won State)
2002: 0-6 (quite possibly the most brutal HS game I've ever witnessed)
2003: 28-31 OT (another war... if Struthers had won, they likely would've met Mooney in the first round of the playoffs... this game probably cost Coach Zetts his job, ruined Justin Decker's football career, and was really the beginning of the downward spiral that Struthers is just now starting to recover from)
2005: 20-27 (Justin Penson and Brandon Beachum took turns running up and down the field)

The kids now don't know how fierce the rivalry with Poland was. At one point in time, it was just as intense, probably more intense, than the Campbell rivalry is now. I remember Anthony Horvath ranting like a lunatic before the Poland game in 2003. The Struthers-Poland rivalry meant so much to the players, the coaches, and really the whole town. History will always side with Struthers-Campbell, and I agree wholeheartedly. Struthers-Campbell is one of the oldest, fiercest, intense, and storied rivalries in NE Ohio. The Struthers-Poland rivalry was something special in it's time though.

Beachum started at Poland. His Freshman and Sophomore (2005) years, he was at Poland. '06 and '07 he was at Mooney.

I knew that one could possibly go in that direction.

Oh yeah... add Poland-Mooney to the list.. It may never happen, but it would no doubt be worth a ticket.

I dont know . I wish we were a bigger school and we had more depth . We usually play 5 or 6 D-1 schools everyyear . The Boardman series was a very good rivalry
