Here's a dumb question. When re-tweeting something on teh twitter, how do you type after the re-tweet?

I have never found that out. Of course, I have only re-tweeted 3 times ever.

I have the same issue. But when I do it on my Android app, it allows me to type additional text.

Can't type before/after a retweet. Phone apps may let you quote a tweet, in which you can type before/after the tweet.

It depends on which app you're using. If using the official app, it's a quote tweet. That allows you to essentially retweet with a comment.

Most 3rd party apps have a "retweet with comment" option.

If you want to Retweet and respond to the tweet, instead of clicking Retweet you type what you want to respond then type "RT" and copy and paste that persons' twitter name and their original tweet.

Example:
Yeah they suck RT @Redsfan I hate the Cardinals!

I don't find Twitter or Facebook to be that similar. I follow like 400 people on Twitter, and probably 390 of them are athletes or other sports personnel. And I still don't get on it that much. Twitter just has too much nonsense going on.
