Odd start time of 1:35 today, as Homer takes the mound fresh of the DL.
Let's hope his return is as nice as Aroldis' was last night.
Apparently Brucey is sick and will not go today.
Heisey, RF
Phillips, 2B
Votto, 1B
Gomes, DH
Lewis, LF
Stubbs, CF
Hernandez, C
Cairo, 3B
Janish, SS

I wish the Reds used the 1:35 start for day games, many teams do it.
I'm glad Dusty didn't start Rolen after a good game, he needs rest and Cairo needs to play a little. Hopefully these guys can keep the offense going, Guthrie is pretty good, wouldn't be surprised to see in him St Louis in a month.

Like this lineup with Cairo and janish at the bottom of the order.
Also, I've watched 2 full games since I've been out in NJ and the reds won both games...last night I saw half of the game and they of course won...whenever I haven't seen a second of the game, they've lost lol very strange.
I'm goin to b dubs to watch, BTW

Guthrie going for his 10th loss?
7th and 8th spot looks awfully strong for a lineup with Gomes batting 4th.

Nice, do you have to request them to turn the games on? One of the small TVs I'm assuming?

Ironically since returning from la I have watched them on tv three times all losses. Twice I didn't watch and they have won. Today I am not watching. Just listening on MLB app

Freakin gomes and Lewis in our 4 and 5 spot..pitiful
I'd rather they hit 7 8 and have Hernandez and Cairo hit 4 5

Hernandez 4th would be fine with me, but then I would have Stubbs 5th

Is it just me or does he have the skinniest forearms in the league?

Would have been nice if Cairo got that bunt dow. Although doubtful that we would have done anything with it

I'm just glad somebody told Welsh how to pronounce Markakis. In the first game he kept calling him Mar-kack-is. Tells me how much baseball he watches throughout the year. The Reds are probably the only games he watches

I get it that Guthrie is good, but our offense has been pitiful through the front 4. But then again, when Gomes is your 4 hitter, Lewis your 5 hitter, and Janish is in your line-up at all, you can't hope for much.

Gotta hope Heisey, Phillips, Votto, or Stubbs can come through
