That sucks. Why do they do this?!Ironman92;1002089 wrote:Madonna was announced as the halftime show.
If the Packers don't make it, I won't watch a minute of the Super Bowl. This is absurd. But, when the Packers make it, I'll use the halftime to get food, crap, and hydrate...

That is terrible. Even the older crowds(40+) because that is what this is for will probably not even be interested in this. Really wish they would have a more recent band/artist but I guess JT and Janet Jackson ruined that.Ironman92;1002089 wrote:Madonna was announced as the halftime show.

Maybe they will talk about how Tebow couldn't win if the opposing team scored more than 20 pts? I suppose arm chair QB's could also scrabble for about 7 secs stiff arm a pass rusher and hit a receiver on the run for a 43 yd TD pass too?Hb31187;1000992 wrote:You mean the fact that they blew coverage on Thomas like 4 times and half the OC could of completed some of those passes? Or the fact that ponder threw it directttttly to the defense to set up the game winning fg?

Maybe Tebow and the Broncos make the Super Bowl and she'll sing "Like a Prayer" "Cherish" and "open Your Heart...to me"

Lol they just won the Super Bowl, and are 12-0 this year...I'm pretty sure their opponents aren't making them look better..they are making their opponents look worse.tk421;1001646 wrote:defenses making the Packers look even better than they are, wide open receivers. It's amazing.
The open receivers is BECAUSE of the Packers, not the defense.

I'd say you do since you seem to be infatuated with Jerry Sandusky.DeyDurkie5;1002621 wrote:you have a bigger hard on for tebow than speedofsand. hilarious.

Did ESPN put Jacksonville on MNF twice just so their crew could get a nice vacation?
The Chargers will win out and win their division.

Terrible December game.
But hopefully Rivers and the Chargers get hot in time for the Baltimore game.

I don't care if MNF can't flex, to schedule Jacksonville 2x a year is ridiculous. Their own fans even hate watching them.

Good thing ESPN paid like 6 trillion dollars for these terrible matchups. How do they pay that much and not get a flex? Just make them do it 2 weeks in advance and only twice a year if you are worried about schedule issues.

Or, ya know, don't schedule AFC or NFC West teams.

Actually a lot of people do not care for Jacksonville. Bill Simmons complains every time they set a Super Bowl for Jacksonvilledave;1003498 wrote:Did ESPN put Jacksonville on MNF twice just so their crew could get a nice vacation?

Not bad. Rivers and the receivers are looking good tonight.
Need some kind of pass rush, though, if they're going to beat the Ravens.

Jacksonville gets your hopes up because it is in Florida, and then when you arrive you are thoroughly let down.jordo212000;1003600 wrote:Actually a lot of people do not care for Jacksonville. Bill Simmons complains every time they set a Super Bowl for Jacksonville

You can't change the day, it would screw up too many people's plans who purchase tickets.chicago510;1003580 wrote:Good thing ESPN paid like 6 trillion dollars for these terrible matchups. Rivers and MJD at their best. This is why they scheduled this game, too bad it doesn't mean much.
