Mikey will screw this up in only a way he can
He's probably spanking his pud at breakneck speed knowing the the imposed salary floor doesn't kick in until 2013. He can keep ALL of that money if he wants from what I hear.

Andy Dalton gets a 4-year deal worth $5.2M to be the probable starter, Vince Young gets a 1-yr deal worth $5.5M to back up Vick ...... Just goes to show you how damn cheap Mr. Brown is

The Bucs agreed to terms with Koenen on a six-year deal worth $19.5 million, with $6.5 million guaranteed.
An avg punter gets more than Dalton. WTF? Is it a rookie scale?

I don't know if that shows how cheap he is. If Dalton agreed to the deal, isn't that a smart move on Brown's part? Meaning he didn't overpay for a rookie QB who may start off backing up Gradkowski?osu45804;846192 wrote:Andy Dalton gets a 4-year deal worth $5.2M to be the probable starter, Vince Young gets a 1-yr deal worth $5.5M to back up Vick ...... Jets are desperate to win a ring. Looks like they'll try anything and will throw money at just about anybody.

I know a lot of people will use Michael Vick to counter my point, but I find it hard to believe a guy can get back to playing professional after rotting in prision for a couple years.
When you look at Vick, he really did not turn it on until his second year back. I have to think IF Plaxico is able to come back, it will take just as long for him to be effective.
Of course, my point still could be valid and maybe 99% of people cannot make it back and Vick is just a freak of nature.

Bengals re-sign Benson to a 1-yr Deal
Cincinnati #Bengals are very interested in Donte Whitner. Could be in negotiations right now.
