The village of Piketon puts on a free cookout with wings and hotdogs and entertainment, then fireworks in the evening!

Its fun to watch my kids enjoy them. Otherwise, i kinda feel the same way. If i didnt have kids, i prolly wouldnt go out of my way to go to any July 4th activities.

Looks like our weekend will be Reds game on Saturday, Clippers/Bats game on Sunday, cookout on Monday.

Going to a cookout on Saturday and hosting a cookout on Sunday. Nothing planned for Monday, might grab some beer and head to the pool for the day

The base is having a few concerts on the base beach, including plain white t's. Also they are having some sort of espn wing zone thing. Should be a good time. Then fireworks shot off from out on the water. Looking forward to it.

1:10 Reds-Tribe game on Sunday. Bleacher seats. *angel* and I will probably pre-game at Newport on the Levy (Irish Pub - I forget the name maybe Cladough?) and walk over the bridge to the game hopefully in time to get the Dusty Baker bobble-head give-away. Kind of depends if the pub opens early enough to down a couple cold ones. If not, we'll probably just go to the In-Between bar or Holy Grail across from GABP.
