Did Manny argue? I had to stop watching to take a shit. Yes, this post is from a toilet seat.

Watch that shit cost us the game.

Well, that and Fausto/Lou Marson.

Manny was charging out as soon as they went to break... He didn't get ejected thought because the ump knows he's a piece of shit.

Fausto cost the game, no ifs and buts about it.

No doubt.

But we had a guy on 2nd down 1 if the ump didn't blow the fucking call.

Well, Lou has a chance to redeem himself and get on base versus Street.

No he doesn't lol.

Instead, Travis Buck flies out on the first pitch he sees.

Our only hope is Grady getting a hit.

I call a hit, then a Brantley 2B.

Insert Druby for Brantley.

2 up, 2 down..

I'm guessing a 1-2-3 9th. Why make it harder?

Yep, figures...

A game we had, Fausto throws away, then Marson makes sure we can't come back.

This loss is on Carmona. Offense scored 7 runs..bullpen gave up 1 earned run. He can't give up 6 runs with 2 outs and nobody on.

Bullpen gave up ZERO earned runs.

I think the BP gave up an unearned run, but yes, the loss is definitely on Carmona... However, Marson didn't help.

It'd be a tied game.

Grady just missed that pitch. Got under it a little too much.

And I hate umpires that take the game out of the players hands. We will never know what could have happened if he makes the correct call. The thing is, is that it wasn't a hard call to make. He just blew it big time.

It still boggles my mind how he blew that call..

I'm gonna play devils advocate here and say that Acta should have taken Carmona out before he blew it, but since he didn't, the loss is squarely on Carmona. It is so disappointing to lose a game being up 4-1.

He should never have pitched to Giambi. BUT, Carmona still blew the lead in an epic meltdown.

I don't see any way they could possibly justify letting Fausto make another start. That's 7 straight bad starts.

Send him to the pen as a long man, send Chad Durbin away forever, and call up Gomez or McAllister.

I don't know how you can blame Acta. That spiraled out of control so fast on Carmona. He breezed through the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th and had the first 2 out of the 5th. Guys can't get loose in an instant. Nobody was even stretching down there, let alone throwing. Carmona needs to get an out and limit the damage.
