Our Tribe comes off a homestand sweep of the Pirates to welcome into town the Colorado Rockies. The visitors bring a 35-36 record to go against the AL Central leaders who now have a record of 39-31. Speaking of records, this will be BRF's 7th thread started for a series and he is bringing in a 13-5 record. Hopefully, all this adds up to continued success for our team.
All games will be starting at 7:05 at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario. Speaking of that, Hammy had the weekend off and will be back. Look for him to get some razzing and we hope the sweep was not due to his absence!

In the first game, we will see Nicasio at 2-1 vs. our "ace" Carmona at 4-8 now.
The second game will pit Chacin (who has one of the weirdest first names I've ever seen and thus, he will lose despite his 8-4 record) vs. Talbot at 2-4.
The final game of the series matches Hammel at 4-6 vs. Tomlin at 8-4.

The Rockies are 8-7 all-time against the Tribe, but just 1-5 at The Jake. Hopefully that continues this week.

I believe the Rockies are one of the worst teams on the road in interleague play. But one of the best at home. Hope it continues this week.

Great sweep versus the Pirates. The pitching returned in a big way, and the "key" guys started to hit for the Tribe. Great to see Pronk back as well with the RBI double in the first game. I missed them all on a short vacation to the cottage, so hopefully we dont start to lose again now that Im home. If we do....I may very well move up there till November.
