1976 Red, career pinch hitter, Mike Lum. Looked up the Reds rosterfor 1976 for this one. I remember him playing a long time for the Braves.

George McBride? I remember a message board comparing his HRs to ABs (which was a horrible ratio), but I don't know if he was a good hitter in general

#3. Rusty Staub 2951 games (235) several years to start and end carrer way under

I'm not aware of Dempsey playing 24 seasons...but I'll take your word for it as you haven't been wrong all thread.

lol @ Dempsey He had 5 seasons with single digit hit totals and it took him into his 8th season before his 100th career hit.....I knew he played in 4 decades (kind of).....didn't know he made it 24 years
