He is NOT the member of the Big Red Machine I was speaking of.....though most will not consider the guy I'm speaking of.....but he was on the Reds in 1976 and played in the ALCS
I knew as soon as I said BRM that Geronimo would be guessed...I remember Dad telling me how he batted 8th and hit over .300, but he didn't say just for one year!

George McBride, another light hitting SS who started his career with the 1901 Milwaukee Brewers. This one didn't come from my mind, but discoverd it when I was looking up Belanger after his name came out of memory from when the Reds were in the 1970 WS.
