GOOD GOD....in doing my trivia questoin this afternoon I stumbled onto something

My trivia question (which justin has avoided) is about players who have more career games played than career hits......well bench coach Chris Speier is #10 all-time witih 501 more games played than career hits....but as I get to thinking I start checking....Dusty Baker, great career...but 58 more games than hits.....Billy Hatcher....yep 87 more games....but the winner....the freaking hitting coach Brook Jacoby has 91 more career games played than hits.......we may have a whole lineup of them at some point

I love Stubbs, but had to laugh when Brantley kept saying he was running all the way. He wally-gagged until he was within 20 ft of second base. If he was running all the way, Escobar wouldn't have had to worry about bobbling the relay. Stubbs would have been in the dugout already

What is lucky on his part is how far it bounced away....a normal bounce away and he has to stop at 3rd....if he's running like he should be and not like Brandon Phillips he's home easily, regardless of bounce.

Also, that ball somehow never got touched...nearly a 4 base error.
