no they didnt
What in your opinion then do they need to do?

they dont need to do anything, i could care less about the big tens perception and i dont know why anyone would.

i was just pointing out the failed logic in your statement, because the big ten never had a chance to prove its self against the sec and big 12 elite.
Ah yes, there's the qualifying statement. Doesn't count unless you beat Bama, Florida, or Texas. lol
Come on, you don't know the "SEC Rules" when determining the strength of your team, conference by now!!?? ;)

The Big Ten didn't play a single 'mid-major' in the bowls.

Oregon (PAC-10), Georgia Tech (ACC), LSU (SEC), Texas Tech (Big XII), Iowa State (Big XII), Auburn (SEC), Miami (ACC).

We didn't pad our bowl lineup with our 6th spot playing the 2nd best WAC school, or 4th best C-USA school, etc.

Big 10 silenced their critics big time. Welll done. and....if the Northwestern kicker drills a 40 yarder, the Big 10 ends up 5-2. And let's not talk about the idiot from Minnesots that dropped the ball unhit with 2 minutes to play. The Big 10 could have easily have been 6-1 this year.

The SEC bottom feeders are much better than the botom of the BT with the top of each Conference being fairly even as the overall record from 1999 in Bowls head to head shows.
This is a bullshit post. The Big 10 matched up with the SEC right on down the line. And even Indiana/Illinois beats Vandy this year.
