Father Day coming

If you’re a dad what do you want for Fathers Day?

What do you get your dad on Fathers Day?

I have no dad …never did..

I want Bull Bar for my Truck or new Chain Saw.
All I have to do is suggest one and the Wife and daughters will make it happen. Its great to be loved and honored….

Probably go golfing with my dad. I like buying experiences, golf, movie, eating out, etc better for these types of things.

We are having a cookout for my Father and all the Father's in our family. A friend has a place w/ a pond where we can fish and they have paddleboats and a nice shelter house and even nice flushing toilets. :D Gonna have all the kids, grandkids and great-grandkids together, prolly about 50 of us. It doesn't happen too often anymore, so my Dad really enjoys it.

Dad lives in Zebulon, NC so I'll be sending a card and a $50 Visa gift card. He has a salt water aquarium and is always looking at new things for it, so the $50 will help that.

I definitely agree with this. I feel like Mother's and Father's Day should be celebrated with that parent and not just buying a gift. I wish I could see my dad, but of course the distance is hard.

I will get my dad and my stepdad both a card. If I'm at home on Father's Day I am sure we will go golfing and in that case I'll buy my stepdad's beers for him.

My dad and bro and I will go to a Tigers game, have done that for the last 3 years....

This is my first year as a dad, so not sure what the wife will get me....I have some ideas....

I've never bought a father's day gift, the whole holiday seems strange to me. I'll consider it Bonus-BJ Day in the future I guess.

Why is the common theme "present" related?

That's very odd to me. It's is not a present that makes a day special or worthwhile.
