I must apologize to "Big Gain", he is correct about Clarett. I searched with MSN search, not Google and found a post where they also claim that Clarett admitted to lying because he was pissed at Tressel and OSU. You have to scroll down toward the bottom of the page.

More proof of the BIG HEAD and MOUTH that comes with the self-aggrandizement title of MODER-ATOR.

"moron" typical of an immature teenie.

Another tard moment for you. I said, "I haven't come across a single one...". Did not say it didn't exist and did not quantify how many I had read. Geezus, I said in the beginning I wasn't disputing it.

There is no way sleeper believes 90% of the shit he says, if he indeed did graduate from OSU. I really think Big Gain actually thinks he is making valid points and has a clue.

I think Big Gain as he is 100% serious, and I feel that sleeper says some things just to get a reaction and keep with his online persona. I could be wrong though.

I think I know what Big Gain is trying to say. From his posts, he seems to be saying that MC is a big liar. But he believes him now because he lied earlier. Or something like that.

Suck on that haters.

OK...unless you are completely OSU biased and wearing scarlet and gray colored glasses...this is an awful statement for OSU. He flat out says that the coaches and university have no control over their players (that is the backbone of a LOIC penalty). He also implies that this was going on when he was in school as well...thus making this an issue for at least 9-10 years...meaning stiffer punishments due to long term corruption. If the NCAA decides to look back that far, USC may not be the only one forfeiting a national title.

Regardless of secret regime or not...you can still get hit with LOIC.

The NCAA will face a lawsuit if they look back further than their 4 year statute of limitations.

Also, the BCS took away the NC, not the NCAA

That's not true. There are exceptions to the 4 year statute of limitations.

Why do you think that? I would assume that they can look back at whatever they want, as long as they're not directly punishing for those actions, which is a pretty wishy-washy way of saying that they can probably consider them and indirectly punish for them.

If the school is only found to have known about the current issues with Pryor, there are no current athletes >4 years and no one is found to be a booster in the 4 year range, none of them apply.

It's directly in their bylaws. The contract between the schools and the NCAA.

Here is the rule. I'm not saying this will apply, but it certainly could if they were able to determine stuff was going on prior to Pryor and Co.
NCAA rule 32.6.3 Statute of Limitations: Allegations included in a notice of allegations shall be limited to possible violations occurring not earlier than four years before the date the notice of inquiry is forwarded to the institution or the date the institution notifies (or, if earlier, should have notified) the enforcement staff of its inquiries into the matter. However, the following shall not be subject to the four-year limitation:

(a) Allegations involving violations affecting the eligibility of a current student-athlete;

(b) Allegations in a case in which information is developed to indicate a pattern of willful violations on the part of the institution or individual involved, which began before but continued into the four-year period; and

(c) Allegations that indicate a blatant disregard for the Association’s fundamental recruiting, extra-benefit, academic or ethical-conduct regulations or that involve an effort to conceal the occurrence of the violation. In such cases, the enforcement staff shall have a one-year period after the date information concerning the matter becomes available to the NCAA to investigate and submit to the institution a notice of allegations concerning the matter.

Like I explained, that means that the school had to know about it for the whole time, or that they had to be involved in it.

Yes, I know that. I just wanted to clarify that you can't throw out the 4-year statute and think you are safe.
