Bronson has now allowed multiple HRs in 7 of his 13 starts this year, averaging a HR every 4.5 innings.

back to the Hanigan catches Bronson thing.......WHY

Who caught Bronson his first 7 years he pitched. Is Bronson not a smart pitcher that could work with damn near anyone who could follow a scouting report? Could Bronson and Hernandez go over a scouting report and navigate a plan of attaack in about 10 minutes?

How has Hernandez been a #1 catcher for 4 different teams for a dozen years?

It's as insulting to say Hanigan can't catch for Volquez or Cueto...it's silly.

Yes, as a former pitcher it is definately easier with certain catchers....but this is the big leagues......surely Arroyo or Hernandez with all of their experience and savvy could adjust.......if not then go ahead and freaking bat Fred Lewis 6th when Hernandez is 7/15 off of the pitcher. It's worked great so far.

.....btw....I'm all for Hanigan and Hernandez splitting time and maybe even catching certain pitchers MOST of the time....but to me this is an exception that should've happened

Still a successful series....took 2/3, and rested the bullpen which was desperately needed.
