The Thomas kid is by far the better back and when it is all said and done he will have upwards of 40 scholarship offers. I think Marlington is the favorite in the NBC but the darkhorses have to be Louisville and West Branch. WB is loaded with young talent and if their new coach is able to put it all together then they could be tough. Minerva, Alliance and Salem should all be respectable.
I guess I wouldn't consider Louisville a darkhorse, as I see them as a co-favorite with Marlington, with the Dukes having an edge right now. I agree West Branch could surprise some people & may be in full force by the end of the season. If Alliance finally takes their talent & puts it all together watch out for them as well. Minerva loses two very key players but still has a good crop of athletes, will be interesting to see how they fare this year with their new coach as well.
Completely agree about Thomas, but think he'll be on the defensive side of the line in college before it's all said & done. An exceptional overall athlete.
Good luck to all the NBC teams this year, & a hearty welcome to the Quakers!
