That seems to have happened a lot against us this year. We get the big out, and then give up the hit to the next guy.
I also wouldve loved to see him be way more careful versus Morneau and gone after the right handed Young, who looked bad the first 2 times up.

Seriously though, the offensive ineptitude by this team is only currently rivaled by the A's.

And this is a major issue. Remember the early season "small ball" winning formula? Can't use that when you're down 2-0 or 3-0 because the offense blows goats.

I dont know what happened to him. Santana is not the same hitter I saw last season. Last season he was the closest thing to the natural hitter that Manny was that I've even seen. This season.....looks like a bum up there.
