All he had to do was punch it into the outfield and Buck is on 3rd easily.. Minny playing 'No Doubles' defense..

There's the DP.

My god we fucking suck. It was fun while it lasted. From 15 games over to 9... From a 7 game lead to 1.5

All in a matter of 2 weeks.

LOL^

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. The thing is, no matter who we bring up, they won't live up to their potential.. Just the way it is in Cleveland...

Look at Santana and LaPorta..

the sad thing too is its just fundamentals. keeping their head on the ball when swinging and not looking out into left field. not swinging at junk. and knowing how to field their position (mostly laporta).

SMH, as hoops said it was fun while it lasted. I had a feeling they would lose the lead eventually, but not this quickly. This is just a joke. This is the team I was expecting from the beggining.

Anyone else want to see Phelps up with the team? Can play second or third. He leads the Clippers in....

1. Batting Average
2. Home runs
3. Doubles
4 Slugging Percentage
5 RBI
6 Second in on base percentage.
7 Only has 5 errors at short.

Or do we want to watch OCab hit 240, lead the league in double plays and have grounders tip off his mitt the rest of the year?

Might as well get the young guys in there to see what they can do. At the very least they will get MLB experience

When you have a couple big winning streaks you are bound to have a couple long losing streaks too, especially when you don't have a hammer or two at the top.

33 wins with over 100 games left, that's pretty damn good. I didn't think they would get to 70 this year. Still don't think they will get to 80 but at least these guys are going to have a full season of playing games that mean something.

+1

Swinging at crappy first pitches...over and over. Need to have a talk with the boys, Manny...and show them how to work the count for a good pitch instead of giving the pitcher an easy way out.

When your SS, no matter how good he is, is your teams biggest run producer, that's usually not a good sign.

The only thing the Tribe is truly missing is the big bat in the line up. We don't have "that guy"...

Agreed, but I will say Asdrubal is putting up numbers that trump a lot of teams #3 and #4 hitters. He is 5th in the league in RBIs.
