A Marine is a Marine not a soldier. The Army has soldiers. There is more training and more commitment in becoming a Marine. You have to earn the title.

I do know of him. He was a reserve who lost both of his legs in Fallujah. The reserve unit he was in was over there the same time I was in 2006 when I received my first purple heart.
