Sounds like something a sissy would do. Stand in and fight like a man.

Nope using advantage to win. You should know from wrestling (7-12 right?) that getting behind your opponent is an advantage.

Perhaps, but that wasn't my style from the neutral position. I'd go straight to the tie up and work on getting in position to use the lateral. Or ankle pick.

Thats a response from someone who didn't learn much about wrestling.

Oh, so there is only one style that works for everyone over all weight classes? Got it.

You said you were a light weight. Not many "good" light weights rely on a upper body/greco style, and they sure as hell don't hang on the head with collar ties. Sounds like a slow style, and a formula to get your ass picked apart on your feet for any light weight.

I wrestled 215. When did I say I was a light weight?

I might be thinking about someone else's post. I take it you wrestled up a weight then, unless you were a chubbs in HS, because based on the photos you posted it is hard to believe you are anywhere close to 215. The upper body style makes more sense. Anyway, i did't say you were bad, my post was in question form. So were you bad, good, average?

I weight 185 now. Wrestled 145 freshman year and got my ass kicked. Hit a growth spurt and wrestled 215 the final three years. Only weighed about 195 sophomore year but wrestled at weight junior and senior year. Wasn't really a chubbs since I was 6'3" at the time but I've definitely slimmed down a lot. I actually tipped the scales at 270 in college at one point. Wrestling at 215 I was average to good. Won more than I lost but lacked the aggressiveness to really excel. If I had my current mean streak in high school I could've been a monster. It doesn't take much to set me off now, back then I was way too laid back.

I find it hilarious that the guy with one leg and in a wheelchair is talking about kicking someone's ass. I would mushroom stamp the shit out of you. I don't care how super awesome of a soldier you were. I would projectile shit on your face and then push you off a cliff.
