However, it did further illustrate the point that 99% of the time Pubs muster what little dignity they have left and honor the office by resigning. Perhaps these articles should be required reading by the Democrat caucus from this point forward.

Not surprised Weiner is fighting this and says he won't resign. His good friend, William Jefferson Clinton, did the wild thing on the Great Seal with a gal half his age - all this on taxpayer's time and held on to his job. Knowing this, why should we expect Weiner to throw in the towel?

I don't know man. It's not just egotistical politicians and sports stars though. Go on Craigslist Casual Encounters some time and it's nothing but Dude's showing off their johnson's, as if their wang is so mesmerizing above all the other wangs that the girl (or tranny?) reading the add will feel compelled to respond by her sheer desire created by his johnson. Even if you want to argue his personal life has nothing to do with being an elected official, how do you defend the lying? Same thing with Clinton; and of course that's what ended up getting him impeached.
I'm not a conservative who gives a damn what people do in the privacy of their homes, but this wasn't private, and character DOES mean something to me when I go to vote for someone.
I think the whole argument that it's his private business is just a cop out. People don't want to take a moral stand these days.

Oh, I wasn't wrong. I said in my first post on this thread that he seemed guilty to me. I just didn't back it up by saying he was "100% guilty by the way he talks and acts". Hell, you should take that talent you have and make some serious money with it.
