I think wisconsin would give auburn a better game.

I was going to ask if this was their first venture into a Jan 1 bowl game but remembered their Rose Bowl appearance when Denson and Fitzgerald were playing. Have they ever won a bowl game though?

It depends on which Auburn offense shows up. But I think this could be a good matchup.

NW needs to play very good defense and pass, pass, pass against Auburn.

It'll be an interesting game. NU has struggled with injuries on defense all year, but they'll finally be healthy. Having everyone back will be huge for them. Kafka will also be fully recovered from his hamstring, which plagued him in their last 4 games (loss to Penn State after being up 13-10 at the half, win at Iowa, win at Illinois, win vs Wisconsin).
