We went to Fogo de Chao. The filets literally melted in your mouth. Worth the price, but yes, expensive.

El gaucho in tulsa is good. Logo is better. Hit the one in Houston great.

I've been to Boi Na Braza, in Cincy , a couple of times. There was one in Mason called Amor de Brazil that I thought was better than Boi Na Braza. It closed suddenly once the owner died.

4RINGZ,

Was the one in Philly called Chima? I just went to the one here in Charlotte and its awesome. I recommend to any beer lover to try Xingu. It's a Brazilian beer I had at Chima and it was amazing. 16 types of meat and good beer put me into a coma that night.

gerb- That place has been closed for a couple of years. To my knowledge, there are currently no Brazillian Steakhouses in Columbus.

I love these places....pricey, but literally the only meal you need to eat for 2 days. Just don't plan on doing anything other than laying on the sofa in "Al Bundy" posture for the rest of that day.

Love 'em....fat man's favorite place to eat. Myrtle Beach has one called Rioz. The choice they offer is wide, and the taste is wonderful.

Funny in an ironic sense. I started this thread last year once I visited one. And I just made my second visit to one 3 days ago and this thread was bumped.

These are huge in many parts of the U.S. Texas de Brazil is a big chain, in NYC there is Churrascaria Plataforma (I could be spelling that incorrectly). Sunday brunch (which I just got back from) is popular at a local place that also has free flow prosecco. For US$55/person I really think we overly took advantage of the deal. Positives are all the food you can eat, good salads and various meats. Negatives is that at least at Texas de Brazil they salt the heck out of the meat. The sodium intake can be overwhelming.

That was several years ago. I haven't been since, maybe it's come down in the recession. Lunch is a nice bet though, basically half price.

Regardless, only meal you need to eat for 2 days. It IS outstanding.
