The ump is definitely giving Halladay that pitch outside off the plate.

Thinking the Reds caught a break on that one, looked fair to me.

You should have listened a bit more to your minor league high school teacher when he/she was talking about grammar

Just saw the Reds are losing, so I won't be posting unless they take the lead.

Well, the Reds should get to the Phillies bullpen. Halladay at 80 pitches thru 5.

Apparently as long as Halladay is in the same zipcode as the plate, it's a strike. It's a phenomenon known as the Maddux Effect.

Howard wasn't on the base on that throw. He pulled his foot before he had the ball.

Nah, I think you are referring to the Glavine Effect. Maddux usually had good enough movement that hitters would give up on pitches that would actually catch the corner of the plate.

Halladay was struck out early on a pitch was borderline. Ever since then, he is getting EVERY pitch that is within 3 inches of the black.

Lol @ Stubbs, I still contend that he is better suited for left field.

His range is limitless in center though. And until someone better than him arrives, he will be the CF until he sucks.

That kills not getting that runner in from 3rd with no outs.

Heisey is a better fielder, just not good enough with the bat, and doesn't have the potential Stubbs does. We see too many misplays from Stubbs, especially on those balls close to the wall.

But the Reds get out of it without giving up a run. Can that momentum shift turn into some runs?

I take it you missed Heisey's misplay the other day? He's no better than Stubbs.
