I personally believe that CA will not get the death penalty at this point in the trial. There are way to many lies to legitimately prove to the court that the death penalty is warranted. I do believe that CA is guilty, why else would someone party like nothing ever happened and appear to be much less than concerned of her daughters disappearance?
I've been following this case since day one and there hasn't been a straight answer from anyone involved in the case. Until the circumstantial evidence is proven concrete the death penalty will not happen.

death penalty is always avoidable. I saw guys leave with it and come back in court its changed to 30 yrs. Happens all the time, death penalty is rare and evidence is too circumstantial. But we all know...
I thought Cindy was going to puke listening to the recordings.
Amy Huizenga never spoke of Casey cleaning out her acct., but it was clear they were ex-friends. Prosecution may not get it in. I think the judge will err to caution. Not that the defense is brilliant, it hacks me off there are so many technicalities.

I believe that the coroner's ruling was NOT listed as a homicide, correct? I think this fact alone will benefit CA. While I personally believe she killed the little girl, it will be hard to sentence her to death.

Ruled a homicide, but cause of death was not determined.
Susan Smith killed twice as many children (ie: #winning) than trailer-hot here did, included false stories to try to cover things up and she was able to use insanity or whatnot to bypass death. And, hell, while in jail, she even boned a couple guards or something like that. Which means that Fab1 is already doing research to get employed wherever Casey's going to be placed.
