Wonder why he is headed back to Iowa.
Christie / Bolton: One can clean up the fiscal mess, and the other can clean up the terrorism mess.

If terrorism is the one of the main Republican running points then they can kindly fuck off.QuakerOats;836508 wrote:Wonder why he is headed back to Iowa.

Not quite the same thing as your first comment.
On another note, It won't be New Jersey that decides this election.

Sincerely,

Both recent polls have him at 43-44% respectively...still not bad for one of the pinkest states in the country. And if you think New Jersey is going to decide the Presidential election, you're goofier than I thought.Ty Webb;836491 wrote:Yea......it would kick so much ass with Christie having a 35% approval rating in New Jersey

In much the same manner as you claimed that the Dems would retain the House in the 2010 mid-term election by a wide margin according to your multitude of "poll evidence."Ty Webb;836656 wrote:Give it up Quaker.....IT ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN

I think a Perry/Romney ticket would be pretty good as well.
Perry as Prez, Romney as VP

Romney would never accept a VP nomination...not after being burned by McCain and being this late in his career

Exactly. You have all the proof you need. A politicians word is gold. They never change their mind and they sure as hell never lie.Ty Webb;838572 wrote:The man has publicly stated dozens of times that he will not being running in 2012.....how much better proof do I need

What is your obsession with polls? They are meaningless. Any news outlet can make a poll say whatever they want.

I think the combo of Rep. Canidates are wide open
Backman, Palin both women are vote popularity individuals and should be on someone VP list. Are they Presidential contenders now ????
Perry/ Palin or Backman (then the VP can be preparing for the next President position) The GOP needs to look for the future President also in this 2012 election..
The Republician ticket with a strong VP repsentative will be the combo that will beat the Democate one trick pony.

Just because Palin is growing in popularity won't change the fact a lot of people still think she's an idiot. But I guess we have Biden.

Now that George Lopez has promised to deport himself if Palin is elected, I think some people can get past their thought that she is an idiot.gut;842805 wrote:Just because Palin is growing in popularity won't change the fact a lot of people still think she's an idiot. But I guess we have Biden.

I'm not too worried about people thinking she is an idiot. I'd take her over Obama any day of the week and twice on Sunday. With that being said she will never be elected.

Mitt Romney doesn't seem to be too worried about the rest of the GOP field.....as he is already naming his shortlist of VP Runningmates:
Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie
Sen. Marco Rubio

Christie is even more against being a VP than being Prez. I'm liking Bob McDonnell more and more. He's getting the job done quietly, like Mitch Daniels. I've been saying for awhile that Rubio has positioned himself for the VP slot. Romney would be a good VP for the Pub nominee, Rick Perry.Ty Webb;843700 wrote:Mitt Romney doesn't seem to be too worried about the rest of the GOP field.....as he is already naming his shortlist of VP Runningmates:
