Why have we become a nation of having to say "Im sorry" for everything we say!!
Weber later apologized for his remarks, made during an interview with the Hill Wednesday:
“It’s going to be very hard to beat Michele in Iowa. Period,” Weber said. “She’s got hometown appeal, she’s got ideological appeal, and, I hate to say it, but she’s got a little sex appeal too.

Wow.. I'd like to know what the girls did to merit that punishment. Is this a 70 virgins thing? :)

Pawlenty was on MTP this morning and provided jack in terms of answers. When asked how he would handle the debt crisis and is he would get a deal, he just blamed the President for not doing anything and for the debt. When Gregory asked again what he would do right now, he shifted the answer and again blamed the President.

When asked how he would move to independents, he said he has a history of working across the aisle in Minnesota, yet gave no examples of his successes. He just provided BS boilerplate answers that was a complete waste of time.

Saw something similar with Cain a few weeks ago (forget the show). I wouldn't put too much weight on it because I think there's a reluctance to say much of substance to a small audience and then have it twisted and taken out of context and used against you. Strategically it makes no sense to "open the kimono" in that situation.

Pawlenty is going nowhere. He sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher when he talks.

Right now they're all in "bash Obama" mode, which is fine and dandy when currying favor with the Tea Party crowd. Sooner or later they will have to draw distinctions between themselves in order to get the nomination.

I love it when they get asked questions which aren't part of the stump speech. They completely ignore it and continue with their animatronic talk. Pawlenty is really good at this, but he can't compare with the mistress of misinformation Michelle Bachmann. I watched Bachmann completely ignore a question about her husband's clinic by saying "I'm running for the Presidency of the United States and I'm here to talk about blah, blah, blah.". She did this several times when asked about the clinic. I couldn't help but think I was watching today's version of the Stepford Wives. Next year is gonna be sooo much fun...

Unless Rick Perry throws his hat in. No fun for you if that happens. ;)

It is fine and dandy with anyone with an IQ above 80, both parties should bash Obama, he's been terrible. For the life of me I don't know why a DEM hasn't begun to challenge him in the primary.

I do believe I saw a poll where Perry was only leading the President by 2 points in the Lone Star State.....but I may be wrong

Against the worst President in modern American history? You don't think Hillary couldn't beat O in a primary? I think New York would definitely vote for Hill, and Cali would seal the deal.

Not even close.....nice try though

Fox News released a poll that said even if Hill would challenge him.....she would get her ass kicked

Sorry Ty but I have a hard time believing she would get her ass kicked. Especially now that Obama has been in office for a couple years.

I'd have to see that to believe it. Texas has the best economy in the nation...they're about the only state creating jobs right now, and they're kicking ass at it.

If Perry runs, We'll be in bed by 10:30 on election night.

Well.....considering he most likely won't even come close to winning the nomination....you would be wrong

People were saying that about McCain when Obama clinched the nomination....we were in bed by 10:30....but for the other side

Texas is red. That's not changing.

That said, I'd be more then thrilled if Bam considers it "in play" and wastes a few million bucks campaigning there.

He needs to spend more time in Ohio telling all the unemployed "mission accomplished".

We need to bring back Perot's VP mate to shout "gridlock" during all the debates!

His Ohio re-election photo op can start in Coshocton. Plenty of crumbling infrastructure, crack houses, and empty lots where once profitable factories that employed hundreds of well-paid employees once stood.

Coshocton? Pfft. He needs to go to Meigs and Gallia, chances are a residential building is a meth lab as opposed to an actual residence. It is a third world country down there.

I heard a good question the other day that needs to be asked and thought I'd pass it along:

If Obama is re-elected, what economic policies will he pursue that are different than the ones he is currently employing? In other words, what will he do differently to turn our economy around, help foster job creation, and reduce deficit spending if re-elected?

I'm not sure how he and his backers can answer this, as the policies currently in operation aren't working. Side note - Bernacke is pushing for a QE3 type "stimulus" today and they worked oh so well last time (http://www.cnbc.com/id/43739458). If they say he'll do X, Y, and Z upon re-election, then why not do X, Y, and Z right now?

Retail sales only ticked up a bit, remaining mostly flat...while Gallup's generic ballot of registered voters shows the biggest lead yet for any GOP candidate over Obama.
