He made a couple of good points but whoever is donating to his campaign at this point should just flush their cash down the toilet. We are all human and forget things at times. On the campaign trail that is one thing. A mispeak at a debate understandable. But his debate performances are serial. He needs to fall on his sword.

You can say Cain does not have a clue. People can joke about his 999 plan but that is what is keeping him in the game. I am not saying 999 is the only answer. But many Americans have lived under the onerous federal tax code for too long. Its the power the feds us to control our activity. The federal congress has used it as a separate power under article 1 section 8 to do as they wish. To force individuals and businesses to do their bidding. Taking that power away is appealing to many Americans. It kills the power of lobbyists. The resistance to the power of taxation birthed this nation. You can't gloss over that. The other candidates need take note. The people that deal with it hate it and they long for it to be thrown to the curb and have it replaced with a simple and transparent tax system.

I don't agree with everything he says, He is an admitted Hawk but I think on Domestic Issues, he is going in the right direction. He would be my second Choice behind Paul. A distant second though.
I loved Newt's response to the student loan issue. I probably would vote for him in the general election. I just don't trust him to follow through if elected and press the same issues he is in the primaries.

Bachman- Ditto.
Stop wasting your donors money.
pmoney25;965823 wrote:Huntsman- He is a smart guy, I will give him that. He understands that catch phrases and pandering wont get the job done. He had success as a governor. The fact he worked for Obama hurts him tremendously with Conservatives in Primary Vote. I personally don't care about that, but unfortunately for him, a lot of people do.
Huntsman has spent too much time in China. He has made too many friends and never will play hardball with them. He practically admitted that they are massaging his balls.
pmoney25;965823 wrote:Romney- As much as it pains me to say this, he is the candidate. The thing with him is, I don't believe a word he says. Would it be better than Obama? Yes. But not by much.
Don't give up. I don't believe him either. Most do not. He has consistently polled around 25%. Likeley the republican establishment. The rest are split between Cain, Gingrich, Paul. Perry, Bachman, Huntsman, Santorum, hold a few others but their numbers are insignificant. Once primary voting begins voters will begin to move when the herd is thinned.
pmoney25;965823 wrote:Paul- My candidate of Choice. The quicker this field narrows down, the better he will do in the debates. I think his plan is what American needs. He did struggle a bit with the How would students pay for school question I think. I know what he was trying to say because I have listened to all his interviews but I think Newt answered it the right way during the debate.
I agree when the herd is thinned he will do better. It will depend on which candidate is thinned from the herd. Paul is great in longer interviews. He can lay it out. All humans have gifts and talents. Gingrich has a talent to make his point in a short statement. Paul does not. He feverishly attempts to cram all kinds of truth into a small window. Only a little bit get through.
Gingrich knows how to take Obama down. These Lincoln/Douglas style debates would finish Obama. Obama will never agree to such a format. Ron Paul if he were to get the nomination should demand this format. Paul would eat Obama alive. Only candidates that are confident in their ideology would ever agree to such a format. Gingrich is smart an savvy enough to survive. These controlled formats are a joke.
