I will be glad when it is actually 2012 and the conservatives will no longer be able to say it's not 2012 yet. 2012 is only about 6 or 7 weeks away and the list of "candidates" for the Republicans is very sad. Here is the way I see the list.....
Herman Cain........As soon as those women started turning up he was dead in the water. A 9% plunge in popularity right away.
Ron Paul.....Way too old and not enough charisma.
Mitt Romney.....All he wants is to be President. We've grown really tired of him and now he is a has-been.
Michelle Bachman...You've simply got to be kidding me, right?
Newt Gingrich....Too old, too many skeletons, same old, same old....(emphasis on OLD)
Tim Pawlenty......Who??
John Huntsman.....Now there is a household word on the tip of everyone's tongue....(false)
Sarah Palin.....insert laugh track here...
Rick Perry.....There's not much demand for a candidate with the same views as John C. Calhoun when it comes to States rights and the question of secession. Certifiably nuts. By the way, in answer to the person who said that Perry's position was justified if his State wasn't getting benefits from the Feds, isn't secession considered an act of treason. I believe that can be found in writing somewhere.
To sum up, 2012 is almost here and this is the list. The Republicans are in a world of hurt right now.
Mike Huckabee.....Plays guitar halfway decently...Seems like a guy who would make a very nice neighbor.
There is no question that Barack Obama is much more vulnerable this time but the Republicans have hitched their wagon to the RIGHT and unfortunately for them, it will turn out WRONG on election day.
