I'm not a Santorum supporter. Far from it. But it's because I think he's no conservative, I think he erred by backing Arlen Specter, and mostly I think he became a RINO during his stay in D.C. But...in no way...is he crazy.

If ANYONE thinks he's for making gay acts illegal, removing condoms from drugstores, and bombing Iran on January 21, 2013, then they are indeed loco. Actually, I think it's the opposite if the CNN map is current as of 9:45pm. Most of the rural counties have at least 60% of their precincts in and Santorum holds a small lead. Franklin, Cuyahoga, Hamilton, Lucas, etc. have a lot more precincts to go because they have far more people, and the counties holding the big areas look to be trending Romney. At the very least, it's going to be close, but I don't know if Santorum has pulled enough votes out of the metro areas to hold onto his lead.

Repealing all gay marriages? He's said he would do that.

He doesn't need to make it a felony, just make discrimination okay. My generation is tired of that sort of bullshit which is why far and away the 18-30 demographic is either Paul or Obama from what I've seen.

I'll give you the healthcare argument.....but nothing else that you posted. Trillion dollar deficits for example. Explain to me how the GOP has not run up trillion dollar deficits. Because they have...and they will continue to do so. Subsidizing alternative energy.....that also is not limited to the Democrats. Ignoring the price at the pump? You cannot be serious Hits. What exactly does the president do, or not do that influences speculators from driving oil prices up? The only argument that might have merit....would be the war drum banging regarding Iran. Healthcare argument isn't valid either. Health care in the US has been massively increasing for decades outstripping any other countries rise in cost and there hasn't been a significant growth rate increase in costs since Obama took office.

Now they certainly haven't gone down at all but it's not as if prices had been steady and then Obama came in and fucked everything up.

Ohio may come down to <2,000 votes.

One of the actual good things to come from the elections of 2000, 2004, and 2008 was the overall increase in interest and participation in the election process. Call it a hunch but I think that 3-cycle trend comes to a screeching halt in November....neither Obama nor Romney will be rocking any vote.
