Newt has that special ability to dumb things down to short buzz worthy sounding headlines that can be easily understood by low info voters.

Imagine the look on the Messiah's face when Newt would ask him why he is more interested in being the food stamp president than paycheck Preisdent. BHO would literally have a heart attack on stage.
Newt would humiliate Obama in debates, but that doesn't make him a good president or even an acceptable president. There is nothing anyone could do to make me vote for him. The first war he starts would bankrupt us and cripple the economy.

Romney is slick. He is a champion of states rights. He knows what state he is in.

I can already hear Obama asking Mitt how his father was the first candidate in modern presidential history to release his records (14 years worth) and Mitt can't release a single year.

Mitt knows what is in those, and how he didn't think this was going to be a huge issue is beyond me.

He seems surprised this is even coming up and is totally unprepared for it. Is he living in a cave or something?

This guy is supposed to take it to Obama.

Romney has a glass jaw, and if the media vetted him the way they should have he would not be anywhere near the lead right now.

I still don't understand how anyone would want Mitt Romney to be president.

The look on Willard's face when that was brought up. Uh... maybe... then boos and hisses from the audience.

I think the other thing Willard doesn't want seen in his returns is the rather large amount of money I suspect he has given to the Mormon church. He has trouble with the Evangelicals anyway because of his faith, and that will likely only fuel more questions about his faith which he doesn't want talked about.

Couple that with what is surely numerous tax shelters and other such loopholes (like the fact he only pays 15% income taxes) and those tax returns present a treasure trove for his opponents now and BHO in the future. Probably why he is so desperate to keep them under wraps.

Ron Paul would endorse you before Newt Gingrich. And Gingrich isn't a better choice than anyone. He isn't even a better choice than Obama.

If you think Paul is going to endorse Newt ... you haven't been paying attention as well as you think you have.

I've got $5 that says Paul doesn't leave the race after South Carolina.

The sad irony is Willard will be nailed for positioning his money to lawfully reduce his tax liability by those who pay 0% income tax or who actually receive net tax credit payments.

In theory, he'll have released the records and had sufficient time for the furor to die down well in advance of any debate with Bam. And if Bam goes there, were I Mittens, I merely turn to him, smile, and say "college transcripts, amigo. Got any?"

Unless there is evidence of unlawful evasion in his returns, the story will last a couple news cycles and be gone. He's by no means the first rich person to run for President.
