True, but he was the opening day starter and projected to be a number one. Tomlin and masterson have been amazing so fausto is a great number 3.

Kinda reminds me of those mid/late 90's Tribe teams that could rake but had no true #1 ace. Obviously this team doesn't hit like that though. When this team had what was considered a #1 (the fat guy who wears pants that look like a 5 year old trying to wear daddy's business suit) he choked in the 2007 ALCS.

This team does have much better pitching than the 90's teams. Too bad they couldn't combine the mashers of those teams with the pitching of this team. :)

Completely agree on the pitching (and hitting) but they don't have that PROVEN "reliable' ace that can shut people down.

Well at this rated that'll only be about 20 runs. Sox could use the BP to get those averages back in line.
