The Tribe is on a roll. Let's keep it going with atleast 2/3 from the Sawx.

I'd love 2/3 but I know Boston will be looking for some early season revenge from our previous sweep...

We get Buckholz, Beckett, and Lester so it lines up perfectly for both teams... Masterson and Fausto usually pitch very well against Boston. Our Game 3 starter is TBD as of now...

Ive heard game #3 starter will be Mitch Talbot.

I agree. We are hitting the Red Sox in the heart of their rotation.

Sweet. That's what I was thinking, but I'm not able to check right now so I didn't want to jump the gun.

Not when he (Fausto) is a closer, lol. That was a bad weekend to be a Tribe fan.

Well I was able to go up to the game today and watch the Tribe sweep the Reds and I will be going back up to the game tomorrow night as well and hopefully we can take game one from the Redsox....it's always nice to get that first game of a series, but it won't be easy that's for sure!

Go Tribe!

Should be a great series pitching wise with their best 3 against our best 2 plus Mitch Talbot Hopefully we can keep the momentum going.

Interesting match up tommorrow on the mound. Cleveland fans were pissed that we had to settle for Masterson instead of landing Buckholz...including me.

GO TRIBE

Josh Tomlin is not pitching. Fausto is nothing more than our 3rd best pitcher, and that can be debated.

Yah I worded that incorrectly. I meant two of our top 3. I would put Masterson and Tomlin above Fausto right now.

As long as Fausto isn't facing the Sox of the White variety, he's fine.

He's had some outstanding starts this year.

He's our 3rd best? I'll take that every year.

The Red Sox looked like shit against the Cubs the other night, throwing the damn ball all over the place, hope that continues.

It's going to be real tough lining up against the 3 Boston pitchers that we're facing. Good thing is, we've proven to be able to just hang in and strike when we really need too..

I want 2-1, but I'm expecting 1-2.. Kind of big that we did get the sweep against Cincy because now we have some wiggle room..

I'll be very ecstatic with a 2-1 series win though...

Just keep winning series, that's all anyone can ask for realistically. Happy to have young guys taking turns stepping up and coming through. When Grady and Pronk go out, it hurts in the sense that you don't have their production, but it does give younger guys more opportunity, so far so good. It may not last but all we need is to get through it.

Great thing is, Druby, Choo, and Santana are all getting it going... Druby has played well all year, but he's been ridiculous over the last 8 games or so..

More good news is Grady should be back by the end of the week...

I was one of them as well. I thought we should have had both tbh.

8 sweeps this year. Wow. Also heard Buster on Mike and Mike say that Druby would be on the short list of MVP ballots right now. I think he has definately been the most consistent at the plate but there has definately not been one or even a few guys carrying the team this year (at the plate). Let's hope they can win another series. Mike and Mike also said they'd be in cleveland tomorrow FYI.
