Reds come from behind to win the first game, something they have struggled to do. Definitely a match-up favoring St. Louis by the numbers, but Cincinnati on paper. Should be a good one, hopefully Cueto continues to impress in game two.

It had a touch of "playoff seriousness" in the air last night. Great to see the Reds were up for the challenge. Let's see it again today.

Dream scenario:

Reds are up 10-0 in the 9th...Cueto has a perfect game going..with 2 outs in the 9th, Molina pinch hits..Cueto says fuck the perfect game and throws a 98 mph fastball at his face..Molina dies..Reds win!

Will be interesting to see the lineup today...I think Dusty said Janish will be in there; Renteria was in there last night cause he hits Lohse well.

Yes.

Last nights game was rough on my emotions. I was aggravated for a vast majority of it but the payoff was well worth it. My wife was trying to get me to leave early but I told her to shut up and made her buy me a hotdog.

I'm hoping for an easier game tonight. Jump out to an early lead and cruise the rest of the way. It would also be great if the rain held off, or just completely shit on us after 5 innings if we've got the lead.

I guess Fred Lewis getting 2 hits yesterday wasn't good enough to be in the lineup again today, so we'll go ahead and put Gomes back in there.

Heisey doesn't perform well as a starter. Sure, Gomes sucks too but lets not act like Heisey is killing it, either.
