Laley: I seem to remember talking to you about your DiBiasio connection. There is a Mr. Cleveland true blue guy!

riders1: you are right with Wayne Kirby. And the answer to YOUR question is Eddie Murray (from the right side).

Interesting note: Fausto Carmona's ERA would be 2.22 IF you took out his opening day start against Chicago. 7 starts and one (real) bad outing. I'll take it.

Who hit the first home run at the Jake, Gardens?

Eric Anthony. I was there, sat next to Lenny and Wilt. Wilt was on my right. We talked a lot about Woodstock, Patty Hearst, stuff like that. Promised to stay in touch, but we didn't..... those guys were F.O.S.! Tribe beat the Mariners 4-3.

Fausto was dominant for 5 innings but he's gotta work and get out of the 7th while this is still a 1-run game.

Tribe was getting no-hit deep into that game. I think Wayne Kirby had the winning hit.

BRF says......you may be right on that! Did Kirby hit the ball that scored the winning run? An infield hit? Who scored then? Vizquel? Now I will have to look it up.
